2019 Chamber of Commerce Annual Award finalists announced.

The Wenatchee Valley Chamber’s 2019 Annual Banquet will be held on Thursday, March 21st at the Wenatchee Valley Convention Center. The events presenting sponsor is North Cascades Bank, joined by additional sponsors, Jake Davison American Family Insurance and Horan Estates Winery. Café Columbia sponsored the Best decorated table award. The evening will be highlighted by announcing the 2018 annual award winners including:

Wenatchee Valley College annual foundation awards to be announced at gala May 19

Wenatchee Valley College annual Foundation Awards nominate Malachi Salcido as "Distinguished Alumni."

The official awards will be announced at the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation Gala on May 19.

The Salcido Connection is pleased to announce the addition of Tad DeLancy as an Apprentice Electrician.

DeLancy is completing his Electrical Technology Certificate from Perry Technical Institute, where he has earned President’s List Honors, and has spent the last two years learning the foundations for electrical work and building knowledge of electrical codes. Previously, he spent eight years with Alcoa as a Head Tapper and Furnace Operator until the facility’s curtailment in January of 2016.

“Tad’s former employment in a large industrial facility as well as his formal education make him a highly-qualified addition to our team,” explained COO Rob Fritz.

The Salcido Connection announces promotions

The Salcido Connection is pleased to announce the promotion of two key team members. Rob Fritz has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Michelle Hoffman has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the mechanical, electrical, and facilities development company.

A 20-year electrical industry veteran, Rob Fritz handles the daily operations of The Salcido Connection, including management oversight and production coordination with all areas of the company. Fritz joined The Salcido Connection four years ago, and in his new role develops growth strategies that align with company goals and values and ensures the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Fritz holds a Washington State Electrical Administrator license.

A 10-year member of The Salcido Connection team, Michelle Hoffman oversees and manages all accounting and financial operations, implements operational best practices, manages budgets and employee benefits for The Salcido Connection. She holds degrees in accounting and computer applications and has training in employment law. “I’m thrilled to announce these two key promotions. Both members of The Salcido Connection team have proven themselves to be invaluable to our growth,” explained Founder and CEO Malachi Salcido.
